Welcome to EduLink Connect, a digital school management and communication platform operated by LISATONE Enterprise (Enterprise Number: K2014182886), registered in South Africa. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

2. Definitions

• “Platform” refers to EduLink Connect, accessible at edulinkconnect.co.za
• “User” refers to any person accessing the platform including parents, students, teachers, tutors, and school administrators
• “School” refers to any educational institution registered on the platform
• “Services” refers to all features offered including student management, communication, tutoring, and the school store
• “We/Us/Our” refers to LISATONE Enterprise trading as EduLink Connect

3. Eligibility

By using this platform you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or are a minor using the platform under parental or guardian supervision
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You are a legitimate representative of a student, school, or educational institution

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of the platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. School Store & Payments

The EduLink Connect school store allows parents and guardians to purchase school uniforms, stationery, lunch orders, and other school-related items.

• All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable
• Payment methods accepted include EFT (Direct Bank Transfer) and online payment via PayFast and Ozow
• EFT payments must reference your order number and are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation
• Orders are only fulfilled once payment has been confirmed
• Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy outlined in Section 6

6. Refund Policy

• Requests for refunds must be submitted within 7 days of purchase
• Refunds are not available for digital services, downloaded study materials, or personalised items
• Physical goods (uniforms, stationery) may be returned in original condition within 7 days for a full refund or exchange
• Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method

7. Tutoring Services

EduLink Connect facilitates a tutoring marketplace connecting qualified tutors with students.

• Tutors must apply and be approved by EduLink Connect before offering services
• EduLink Connect earns a commission on all tutoring sessions booked through the platform
• We do not guarantee the availability of any specific tutor
• Parents and students are responsible for verifying tutor qualifications before engaging their services
• Any disputes between tutors and students must be reported to us within 48 hours

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the platform to:

• Upload or share any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose not authorised by us
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Share student data with third parties without consent

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the EduLink Connect platform including logos, text, graphics, software, and course materials is the property of LISATONE Enterprise or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Privacy & POPIA Compliance

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) No. 4 of 2013. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, LISATONE Enterprise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
